Baxco Pharmaceutical Opens Their Doors to Senator Bob Huff
Having Senator Bob Huff, representative to the 29th Senate district of California, tour your facility is not an every day occurrence, and September 14th, 2009 is a day that Baxco Pharmaceutical will always remember.
The news came early on Monday morning that California Senator Bob Huff would be touring the facility in the afternoon and an air of excitement came over the staff. |

Senator Huff currently serves as Senate Republican Caucus Chairman, Vice Chair of the San Gabriel Valley Legislative Caucus and serves on the following committees: Vice Chair of the Education and Transportation and Housing Committees and a member of the Budget, Public Safety and Natural Resources and Water Committees. As a proponent of reform within California’s school system, Senator Huff has had legislation signed into law guaranteeing more funding for public charter schools. He has lead efforts to continue the Standard Testing and Reporting (STAR) program for second graders and fought for parents’ right to choose the best school for their children.
"It is exciting for me on many levels, Senator Huff has done many things for the community, our schools and for the State." said CEO Dennis Wong, "I am glad that I have reached a point in developing this company where I can be proud of our facility and the work we do." The Senator came on a perfect day for a tour, considering that we were packaging Omega-3 Fish Oil, which is one of our big selling items. The tour began with the Senator and the Senior District Representative, Jody Roberto, following our cGMP gown procedures. Once accomplished, the two, guided by Dennis Wong, made their way behind the glass walls that separate our production line. The Senator was given a thorough explanation of the packaging line and the processes of manufacturing, private labeling and imprinting and was able to see from start to finish, how Baxco Pharmaceutical ensures that the best quality supplements reach our consumers time and time again. "I like this, it says 'Made in the USA,' it creates job for US citizens," said Senator Huff.
The Senator's eyes filled with patriotism as he scanned palette after palette, stacked with cases of supplements marked with, "Made in the USA," awaiting shipment. "It was a moment we were all proud to be Americans," stated Dennis Navarre director of Sales, as the Senator posed with Dennis Wong with the backdrop of a palette displaying, "Made in the USA." Ending the tour in the warehouse, Dennis and his father stopped and talked shop with Senator Huff and explained how Baxco Pharmaceutical ships international with distribution in America, Canada and Asia. "I remember when I used to take the shipments to the airport myself, and now look how far we have come," said Dennis Wong.
