Baxco Pharmaceutical Begins Manufacturing Essiac Softgels

Herbal Balance for Life, the proprietary owners of eight herb Essiac, begin production of a new softgel version of their tea.

The miracle of Essiac was an amazing history that dates back to early 1920's. The formula was passed to the "founder", Rene Caisse, from a woman who was suffering from breast cancer and could not afford surgery. The woman had sought alternative treatment to the cancer from a native Ojibwa medicine man who gave her a recipe for a tonic. Amazingly the woman recovered from the cancer and never suffered from it again.

In the early 1920's Caisse began giving the formula to her terminally ill patients, even her own aunt who was suffering from stomach and liver cancer. Later she teamed up with Dr. Charles Brusch, noted scientist and personal physician to President Kennedy, and spent eight years with him refining the formula to create the most effective formula, which included the addition of several new herbs to the blend.

The eight years of scientific experiments and continued testing by Dr. Brusch and Nurse Rene Caisse has established, without question, this eight herb formula to be superior to the original four herb recipe and Dr. Brusch has stated: “Clinically, on patients suffering from pathologically proven cancer, our Essiac reduces pain and causes a recession in the growth; patients have gained weight and shown an improvement in their general health….. Remarkably beneficial results were obtained even on those cases at the “end of the road” where it proved to prolong life and the quality of that life……the doctors do not say the Essiac is a cure, but they do say it is of benefit.”
