Chamber Honors Anniversary in Walnut with Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Baxco Pharmaceutical celebrates first year anniversary in Walnut with area Chamber, ribbon cutting ceremony, guests and dignitaries.

Dennis Wong gleamed a warm smile as he looked over the various plaques and certificates of recognition presented to him for their first year anniversary in Walnut. With his mother at his side, everyone could tell that this was a true family business success story. "We had an amazing turn out, even the Monterey Park Chamber of Commerce came out to support us. Even though we moved, they still took time to come out and supported us."

The event began with a speech from Heidi Gallegos, CEO of the Regional Chamber of Commerce for San Gabriel Valley and followed with certificate of Recognition from the California State Senate, the California Legislature, Monterey Park Chamber of Commerce, the City of Walnut and the Regional Chamber of Commerce for San Gabriel Valley. The ceremonial ribbon was then stretched out and all of the employees and family members of Baxco held a portion as it was cut by Dennis, ushering in a new era for the CEO and his employees.

Dennis added, "It was good to see everyone holding the ribbon, we are a family here, that is how we started, that is how it will always be and this is truly a family success story." Once the ceremony was completed the crowd gathered around and enjoyed a wonderful Mexican style lunch provided by caterer Alex Perez.

Dennis noted, "I wanted to give a special thanks to the Monterey Park Chamber and the City of Walnut. I would also like to thank Jon Brewer and Kyle Clark for making such a wonderful video for our web site, and last but not least I would like to thank Alex Perez for preparing such an amazing meal for all our guests."
