Charitiable Donations Make Baxco Pharmaceutical Who We Are
Baxco Pharmaceutical and UBB Vitamins understand that with prosperity comes responsibility and in these tough times that responsibility is to those who are in dire need of some assistance. The discussion of charity came easy for Dennis Wong, CEO of Baxco Pharmaceutical, as he reflected on how much his company has grown in the past years. "We started out just the accountant and myself," said Dennis, "I would take shipments to the airport and do whatever was needed to get that shipment out."He continued, "I understand how lucky we have been and I have always given back to the community, now is the time to step up out efforts." Here are a few of the charities that we have made donations. It is our dedication to the community to make this continually grow. |

What is Cub Scouting?
Cub Scouts is a program for boys who are at least 6 years old or in the first through fifth grades. Families are a big part of the Cub Scouts and are welcome to attend outings and activities. It's a great way to enjoy your family with the lively interaction of children the same age. A Cub Scout is part of a Pack, which is a group of families usually from the same school, church or area. The Pack is divided by age groups into Dens. The Pack meets once a month with Cub Scouts, leaders, parents and other family members to recognize everyone for their accomplishments that month. Den meeting activities are planned around monthly themes and includes games, handicrafts, hikes and other outdoor fun, practicing skills and stunts for the next pack meeting, and taking part in simple ceremonies and songs.
Sometimes work on advancement requirements is included, but most of that work is accomplished by the boys with their parents. The Den Leaders will ask for help from parents to share a skill or host a den meeting. Cub Scouting provides boys with positive peer groups and tools to shape their future. Boys learn values that help them make constructive decisions throughout their lives and give them the confidence they need to grow and develop.
